The Most Important of Small Appliances |

Like you, I have counter tops full of small appliances in my kitchen. Let me start from one end of the counter space to the other. My counter tops support among small appliances and other things: an iced tea maker, a lidded bucket to collect used coffee grounds and vegetable scraps for the composter, a coffee maker, a blender, a banana holder, nic nacs, salt and pepper shakers, a fish tank, flour, sugar, tea and coffee canisters, antibacteria hand wash, hand lotion, potted herbs and plants, the land line, a basket full of pens and pencils plus a small pad of note paper. Can I come up for air now? Goodness there sure is a lot of stuff including small appliances on the counters of my kitchen!
For me, the most important of all those small appliances is the coffee maker. It is the first stop I make in the morning after coming down stairs. I don't use the timer because I rise at different times every day. So I get the filter, the coffee, add water and turn it on. I then turn on the computer and check my e-mail. By then my favorite of all kitchen appliances has done the task of making my morning elixir. I pour a cup and begin the day! |
